Before going in the pool or the ocean:
– You should soak your hair thoroughly with clean water.
– Apply conditioner or a leave-in conditioner to your hair. This will give your hair a barrier of protection against chlorine and salt.
– Put your hair in a loose ponytail or loose braid if possible.
After getting out of the water:
– You should immediately wash your hair thoroughly with a top-quality shampoo and conditioner (this is very important!).
