The Beatles
There are some significant events in the history of The Beatles around this time of the year:
- They first recorded in legendary Abbey Road Studios on September 4, 1962 where they did their song “Love Me Do”.
- Their song “Yesterday” was released in September of 1965. It’s one of the most recorded songs in the history of popular music and according to Guinness World Records, 1600 versions had been made by January of 1986.
- Their last public concert was August 29, 1966 in San Francisco.
