There are several charitable organizations that can use your discarded locks to help make hair available for children and women who have lost their own hair due to medical reasons such as cancer:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/pantene.com\/en-us\/experience-main-section2\/beautiful-lengths\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Pantene Beautiful Lengths<\/a>\u00a0makes wigs for women who have lost their hair due to cancer. They require ponytails that are at least 8 inches long and are not dyed, bleached, or chemically treated.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.childrenwithhairloss.us\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Children with Hair Loss<\/a>\u00a0makes hair available to children and young adults under 21 years-old who have medically-related hair loss. They require ponytails or braids that are at least 8 inches long and preferably not chemically treated.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.locksoflove.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Locks of Love<\/a> makes wigs for financially disadvantaged children and young adults under the age of 21 who suffer from any long-term medical hair loss. They require ponytails or braids that are at least 10 inches long and not bleached or highlighted.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.clf4kids.org\/index.php\/donate\/donate-your-hair\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Childhood Leukemia Foundation<\/a>\u00a0offers wigs to children with cancer. They require ponytails or braids that are at least 10 inches long and not colored or chemically damaged.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.wigsforkids.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Wigs for Kids<\/a>\u00a0makes wigs for children and teens under 18 who have lost their hair due to medical reasons.
